The whole duty of man........

"Remember your Creator before the silver cord is loosed, or the golden bowl is broken, or the pitcher shattered at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the well, then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and the spirit will return to the Almighty who gave it. "Vanity of vanities," says the preacher, " All is vanity."

"Fear the Almighty and keep His commandments, For this is the whole duty of man.
For the Almighty will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether it is good or whether it is evil." - Ecclesiastes 12:6, 13

Work, work, work

One of the ten commandments states: "Six days shall thou labor and do all your work but on the 7th day you shall rest." "Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, which having no captain, overseer or ruler, provides her supplies in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest. How long will you slumber, O sluggard? When will you rise from your sleep? A little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep - So shall your poverty come on you like a robber, and your need like an armed man." - Exodus 20:9 and Proverbs 6:6-11

When animals give birth.....

Cassie, my favorite dog, gave birth to 6 puppies on Nov. 3. This is her third delivery. Days before that, she dug up soils at the backyard in preparation for such event and kept on changing her mind where to finally settle for her puppies. She's a good nursing mother and makes sure they're safe and secure. Our responsibility is to feed Cassie with more soups and dog food for her to produce plenty of milk. Welcome to the world, puppies!
